On May 12th, the Optimist Club of Malta launched their educational initiative ‘Ikber Magħna’ in collaboration with the Msida Local Council. The project aims to help children in the community with their homework and studies after school hours. It also includes educational activities and talks to encourage personal growth and character-building experiences. The event was attended by Mr Reuben Buttigieg, Optimist Club of Malta President, Ms Margaret Baldacchino Cefai, Mayor of Msida, and other council members. Mr Buttigieg thanked the Mayor for the immediate support and explained the project’s purpose, which has now been launched in a third locality. A memorandum of understanding was signed during the event. The ‘Ikber Magħna’ project will start in Msida is from 1615 till 1815 on Mondays and Thursdays.
